Carbide balls are available in a wide range of diameters, from 0.3 mm to 60 mm, including precision-ground balls in sizes such as 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, and 0.8 mm. Depending on the precision requirements, carbide balls are available in various grinding grades, ranging from G3 to G3000. Common grades include G3, G5, G10, G15, G16, G24, G25, G48, G50, G100, G200, G300, G500, G1000, G2000, and G3000.

 

Common grades of carbide balls include YG6 and YG8. Their hardness is typically ≥90.5 HRA; specifically, YG6 can reach a hardness of 90.5 HRA, and YG8 has a hardness of 89.8 HRA. The density is approximately 14.6 to 14.9 g/cm³, with a particle size ranging from 1.2-1.6 to 1.6-1.9 g/cm³. The flexural strength can reach 2400 N/mm², with a range of 1200-2500 N/mm².

 

The manufacturer can provide custom-made cemented carbide spheres of non-standard sizes and precision according to customer drawings and requirements.
